According to her ex-hubby, Kevin Federline, Britney is in desperate of need of therapy. Much like her on again/off again friend, Lindsay Lohan, Britney has been partying out of control and neglecting her responsibilities. According to Scoop, rapper/wrestler K-Fed is strongly encouraging that Brit check herself into rehab for the sake of their two children. The story is set to come out in the next issue of Star Magazine.

So is it true, or is it just a rumor. Besides their custody battle, Brit and K-Fed have had very little communication since the split. It's easy to see why Kevin would encourage his ex-wife to attend rehab - all she has done is party since the divorce. But Britney made a public statement vowing to clean up her act. Really, Kevin has no control over Britney anymore and until Children's Aid steps in, Brits in no real danger of losing her two sons.

According to sources "Kevin has tried to convince Britney to check herself into rehab from every possible angle. First he tried threatening to take away the kids, then he tried pleading with her to take care of herself". Maybe it was Kevin's gestures that led Spears to her New Year's resolution of taking care of herself more.

Either way, it looks like Lindsay Lohan will remain by herself in rehab - at least for now.
